If one person from a household starts to display virus symptoms – everyone living in the household must stay at home for 10 days or longer if symptoms persist. Yoga and Wellbeing

We believe at Calton Playgroup that introducing Yoga at an early age has many health benefits, improving our strength, posture, balance, co-ordination and motor skills. Regular yoga practise is a fun way of helping to look after our physical wellbeing and mental health. At Calton Playgroup we feel there is strong evidence that it has a positive effect on children’s health and behaviour, helping them to focus and concentrate in their learning environment. The children take part in fun games, learning simple yoga poses, focusing on movement, using their imagination, building stories around each individual pose. Outdoor yoga can help boost our energy levels. Meditation helps us to connect to the natural world, breathing in fresh air, using our senses, smell, sight and sound.
