Parent’s v 1st Squad Tag Rugby Match

As the season approaches and the training comes to an end Mr Gower and Mr Breen thought that it would be a fantastic opportunity to invite parents, carers and siblings along to play a ‘friendly’ Tag Rugby match.

The game started off rather quickly, much to the disgust of the parents, but the scores kept coming, 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 3-2 and this continued for the first half of the game. The second half was just as intense and the intensity and pace of the game did not show any signs of slowing down.

I could not tell you who won the game, but what was apparent during the game, was the respect, skill and fun. This really was a fun end to our training and roll on the Tag Rugby League!

Massive thank you to the parents, Mr Dowling and Mr Coughlin who came along to have a run about!
